"The good is that the baos are great, and better than morning bites which are excellent. The pan fried buns 水煎包 are also surprisingly good despite sitting in a steamer. The Fantuan 饭团 are excellent, better than average in Taiwan with great texture to the purple rice. My biggest problem is that the shaobing 烧饼 is pretty awful. I don't know if this is supposed to be taken home and reheated, but they are under baked and unseasoned and pale. A far cry from any I had in Taiwan. Improved when take home to toast. I just got back from Taiwan so might be a little harsh. Would I take my mom here? Yes but conditionally with select items."

"A home style breakfast and Togo place with a variety of freshly made food. The $6 purple rice burrito is large and great. The bang bang chicken is huge and delicious. Also pork buns and fresh soy milk. No seating"

"This little hole in the wall deli shop sells some tasty snacks that will make you keep on wanting to come back. They have a variety of snacks that are worth trying. We grab a few items including some of their pan fried buns, roasted nuts, purple rice roll, and soymilk. I think the purple rice roll is the most popular item here. It's like a Chinese donut wrapped up with Pork floss, pickled mustard, turnip, abs black/white rice. It is a good snack that you don't often see around town. The pan fried dumplings were also great."

"Finally found a Taiwanese place that is actually good! They sell lots of Taiwanese dishes like fried donut, soy milk, rice burrito, cold noodle dish, tofu pudding , egg tarts, baos, and more. Very small place (takeout only) and you pick as you walk through to the cashier. We got the sweet soy milk, meat baos, fried donut, and purple rice burrito and all were so good! I love that these prices are affordable and the workers are very nice. So happy to have found this place as a fellow Taiwanese person! Can't wait to come back and try more!"

"Need this back home! As a devoted vegan and tofu lover, I can say this place is amazing. There are so many vegan options and tofu options that are homemade and delicious. I tried their hot soy milk and veggie floss rice roll which were delicious. The soy milk had a strong taste that I really enjoyed compared to traditional store-bought soy milks. I've also never had veggie floss which was also great as well! I wish I had this back home so I could also buy their tofu and soy milk for home cooking!"

"Super authentic place to get Taiwanese food!! We've been coming here for years, and they never disappoint. They sell everything from shao bing to purple rice rolls, which are all delicious. Frozen and dry goods are also sold here. The owners are very kind and offer great service. I would definitely recommend coming here to buy Taiwanese food."

"delicious, authentic, freshly-made Taiwanese meals and comfort foods. Prices are very reasonable; many meals are under $10. I like how they try new items sometimes, like fantuan and curry chicken. Always very well stocked. Service is warm and friendly. Grateful to have this store in our community."

"June 2023 When we found this place, we were looking for real (not store bought) soy milk and we most definitely found that here and so much more! Everything they sell here is delicious and authentic. I highly recommend! This is a very small, family owned Taiwanese store that sells ready to eat food. It's labeled as a grocery store, but it's honestly more like an airport deli market where all the food is cooked, packaged, and ready to eat; you just pick them off the shelves and pay at the counter. Note that everything is made in house and they do not sell everything on the menu everyday. The one day they definitely sell everything they offer is Saturday. As you can guess, Saturdays are pretty busy. We got there at 9am and there was already a sizeable line waiting to enter. We waited 15 minutes before we entered the store. There are a few prepackaged snacks, noodles, sauces, and pickled stuff, but you can get those at any Asian market. Since this place is so small, and the line so long, once you enter the store, we all stay in line and move around the store in a conveyer belt system; no walking back and forth through the store. There's honestly no room for that. So if the only thing you want is on the back wall of the store, you need to wait until your position in line reaches the back wall, then you can grab what you want. If you suddenly realize you wanted something back at the beginning of the line, well...you can go back, but it's really cramped, bothersome, and annoying. It's ok to take your time looking at the labels to make sure you didn't miss anything (the line moves pretty slow anyway), but going back is really annoying for everyone involved. Note that the place is not so busy on the weekdays, but again, they may not sell everything on the menu on a given weekday. My sister went back on a Monday, and while it wasn't busy, she wasn't able to get everything that we wanted (namely zongzi and tapioca meatballs). For the hot deli items, there's a menu by the cashier, and you order at the cashier. Note that the fried dough is VERY popular. When we were checking out, the wait for the fried dough was at least 20 minutes and there were at least 10 people waiting for it. They gave out buzzers to the people waiting for the hot deli items that weren't ready yet. The staff were polite and quick to check out items and bring you your hot deli order. If you bought a lot of stuff, they packed your purchases into an open box. Otherwise, they packed your stuff into a plastic bag. Also, they do accept credit cards (Discover, AmEx, MC, Visa) as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay. I didn't notice until afterward, but the cup sleeves for the hot soymilk are sitting right above the pay tablet next to the cashier."
